Basic Handgun Class (Introduction for New Handgun Owners)

Private Instruction Available with a Minimum of Two Students
This class teaches the basic skills necessary to own and operate a handgun safely. Based on NRA course material, this tried and true class has served to introduce people to their handgun, improve their shooting and keep them safe.

Class Length: 4 hours
What you should bring:
- Your handgun if available** (it is not necessary to own a handgun for this class).
- 50 rounds of ammunition.
- Ear and eye protection.
- Closed toed shoes or boots
- High collared and sleeved shirts (for protection from hot ejected brass casings on the range).
- Weather appropriate clothing for outside range activity.
**If you do not own a firearm we have some available at no extra charge (you must purchase ammunition). If you do not already have a pistol, let us know prior to the day of the class.
